Mr. Chen Weicheng, one of the Dawoko’s founders, won the Top Ten Outstanding Youth Award in 2022. Graduated from Tsinghua University, he decided to return to Hukou and work in his hometown. He inherits his family's charcoal making skills and technology, uses wastes to prune the wood. Through high-temperature of burning the woods into charcoal and producing wood vinegar, he comes up with the idea of producing a diverse range of environmentally-friendly charcoal green products and at the same time establish the brand "Wood Vinegar/ Dawoko" to promote sustainable forest life cycle. CJCU Net Zero Sustainability Promotion Office invited Mr. Chen Weicheng to give a lecture, sharing his achievements in practicing forest life sustainable cycle and promoting local creation.
