1. 課程簡介Course Introduction
International concept-cognitive learning could be based on cultural studies in society. Religions are attributed to any culture in the world. This course aims at teaching students to learn how foreigners analyze and understand Matzu, a folk religion in Taiwan. Students are invited to synthesize Matzu story and people’s beliefs from a non-Taiwanese perspective. They can deduce theories on religions and evaluate Taiwanese cultures. They also can learn from the Mago-Halmi (Korean Goddess) in comparative studies.
